This period of cultural biological exchanges between the new (America) and old worlds (Europe). With this exchange going on there was lots of benefits and disadvantage among the different continents.When Christopher Columbus, Hernan Cortes, and Alfred Crosby first got to the new world they described how they seen it. In document 1, he explains how beautiful and resourcefulthe new world is. Also of how admirable the fruits, herbs, flowers, trees, huge lakes and rivers. Another thing he said was “roads were broad and good”. This means that the roads were wide and great. In document 2, Cortes describe food eaten by Yucatan inhabitants.
