1) Commencement of Employment & Periods of Continuous Employment 1. Your period of continuous employment with the Company will begin/began on [date]. 2) Job Role and Place of Work 1. You will be employed as ( insert job title) and report to ( insert name / job title) . The duties of the role may change from time to time to meet changing business circumstances. You may be required to perform other duties that fall outside your job title or key job duties. You undertake to work to the best of your ability and to use your best endeavours to promote, develop and extend the company’s business and interests. 2. You will be based at 9-11 Market Street, Hertford, Hertfordshire, SG14 1BD, but may be required to travel to / work at other locations within the United Kingdom, whether on a temporary or permanent basis, in the performance of your duties. 3. Your duties are to be carried out loyally, diligently and in accordance with the Company's codes of conduct, policies and procedures in force from time to time and the reasonable directions of your manager and other company representatives. 4. During your first 12 months of employment the Company reserves the right to discipline or dismiss an employee, without following company procedures. 3) Probationary Period 1. Your employment by the Company is subject to a probationary period of three months, during which time you will be required to demonstrate to the Company's satisfaction your suitability for the position in which you are employed. This period may be extended at the Company's discretion and is without prejudice to the Company's right to terminate your employment before the expiry of the probationary period. 4) Salary and Expenses 1. You will be paid a salary at the rate of [ insert amount £xx) *per annum/month/week/hour. Any changes will be advised in writing, this letter will form part of your contract of employment.
