Procedure XA1/XA2: In this portion of the experiment, we examined the current mirror using reference currents of 0.1mA and 1mA while varying the load (by changing V CC2 ) to span significant portions of the forward active and saturation regions. The data is below in Table 1. For i C = 0.1mA V RL (V) I C2 (mA) V CE2 (V) V CC2 (V) 5.5 0.117 12.02 17.6 5.41 0.115 9.36 14.8 5.36 0.0114 8.03 13.45 5.3 0.112 6.16 11.5 5.22 0.111 4.49 9.7 5.2 0.11 3.2 8.4 5.1 0.108 1.99 7.1 5.03 0.107 0.8 5.87 4.48 0.0949 0.086 4.57 3.39 0.0718 0.049 3.44 2.4 0.058 0.032 2.5 For i C = 1mA V RL (V) I C2 (mA) V CE2 (V) V CC2 (V) 5.7 1.14 12.4 18.2 5.7 1.14 11.1 16.7 5.6 1.12 9.8 15.4 5.5 1.1 7.9 13.4 5.45 1.09 7.08 12.5 5.31 1.062 4.68 10.01 5.24 1.048 3.28 8.5 5.138 1.028 1.76 6.9 5.05 1.01 0.71 5.76 4.12 0.824 0.118 4.2 2.6 0.52 0.061 2.7 Table 1: Raw data for i C = 0.1mA and i C = 1mA.
