With one headquarters in Miami, Florida and one in London, UK, Carnival Corporation has over 10 cruise line brands and a fleet of over 100 vessels. Carnival Cruises primarily operates in North America, Europe, and some parts of South America. Strengths:There are many strengths that Carnival Corporation presents along with its’ company, their strengths are as follows,They have a high brand recognition being one of the largest travel leisure companies.Carnival cruise lines offer a variety of entertainment on the ships that are appropriate for all guests.Hold a global presence since cruise lines travel to a variety of continents.Invests successfully and dutifully into all kinds of promotional efforts, print and televised. Revenue has increased slowly over the years since 2008. (Carnival, 2016)Weaknesses:With strengths also comes weaknesses no matter how successful the company may be. The weaknesses are listed below,Fluctuating costs of fuel can potentially lead to higher expenses spent on upkeep.Weather conditions such as hurricanes and thunderstorms can reduce the amount of customer turnout.Revenue is too dependent on U.S. market; this leaves little room to fall back on just in case the American dollar were to fluctuate.
