This preview shows page 1 - 2 out of 4 pages.

Abstract: The Density of all solids, pure liquids, & solutions were found by using a Ohaus electronic scale 50 mL beaker, & 25 mL beaker. The density Experimental : The written procedure from The Signature Lab Series (see appendix) lab manual was followed during the course of this experiment. One type of scale was utilized for this Laboratory experiment. As I mentioned earlier, the electronic Ohaus Adventurer SL. Data and Calculations : The electronic scale and Lab utensils were obtained from the Lab instructor. Utensils Included three different objects and two substances: Object A is a solid rectangular prism, Object B was a round metal pellets, Object C is clear glass graduated cylinder. The two substances included water solution and unknown substance #3. This experiment was successfully completed by following instructions on the written procedure in the lab manual (see Experimental Section). Results from both Density of Solids and Density of Pure Liquids are shown on the table below Volume Mass Density Temperatur e Handboo k density

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
