ARCHITECTURE 2 Service-Oriented Architecture Strategy Introduction Many organizations are using Service-Oriented Architecture strategy to run their functions and activities so that they can set business principles such as alignment, differentiated services, and incremental change. Therefore, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a confusing term because it defines two different things. Service-Oriented describes the method that the software can into the business. Architecture, on the other hand, represents the picture that all software assets to the ability in the organization in drawings. More so, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) can be seen as the plan that explains the intention of the business to build or install all software assets with the help of service-oriented software development methodology. Software development involves a kind of application system that uses computer software and design to bring about the architectural pattern. Software and design that is used provide components and services procedures through communication protocol with the help of the network system. (SOA) typically depends on the technology advancements like web service description language as well as online retrieval of bank statements (Arsanjani, Zhang, Ellis, Allam, & Channabasavaiah, 2007). Furthermore, SOA is described as independence because the SOA strategy is a self- describing interface where communication takes place in heterogeneous environment between the client and service provider. The customer in the heterogeneous environment is considered to have no or little information about the service provider. Therefore, this paper will attempt to describe how business enterprises use SOA strategy to give their products and services to customers and trading partners using a standards-based integration protocol.

ARCHITECTURE 3 Analyze five (5) ways in which SOA reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO). Total Cost of Ownership termed as a financial estimate that aims at helping the owners and buyers to determine indirectly or directly the cost product in the market as it is delivered by allows. TCO is management in accounting system where it can be applied to the full cost of accounting also including social costs. Sometimes, manufacturing industries consider TCO as doing business internationally or overseas. TCO includes some cost of shipping and reshipping products, incentives such as tax or credits, opportunity costs, and common language to be used in transactions of goods and services (Zachariassen & Arlbjørn, 2011). Therefore, business enterprises try to integrate their activities in related departments or other business so as to reduce the cost of production. Departments which seem to be performing similar or related functions like IT are integrated so that the company can be able to manage their budgets of running similar functions into one.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
