3.09 1) There are a number of camera techniques used by the director. What visual techniques create the feeling of panic? A: I feel like the Close-up angle contributes a lot to the character. In this short film, the character is in intense fear and has to get to safety. When close-up, this shows drama and can be foreshadowing as well. 2) How does the music match what the runner is feeling? A: When in a situation like this as in the runner, we humans forget to calm down and get to safety which she somewhat did. I strongly feel like the music contributes only so much to what the character/feeling. The runner was in obvious danger and the music matched perfectly to it. Even when she was “alone” in her house, the music was much calmer then before which was much appreciated. 3) Did you anticipate the film ending as it did? What do you think happens to the runner after she drops the phone? A: Normally when someone is running in the woods, especially if it’s a girl, I instantly see her a vulnerable as a baby would be. I guess it’s just my stereotypical side when it comes to horror

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
