Yazmin Padilla November 18th 2016 WRTG 106 Professor Cabot 3 Things Maggie Shircliff 1. Maggie is clear in her aims of the essay and that can be seen from the very beginning within her abstract and and she goes on into her introduction. Her thesis is very interesting because it introduces this concept of the “Anti-Hero” and its unconventional tendencies which hooks readers. However, I would like to see an opposing view later talked about in the essay. Perhaps integrating a theory that views superheros strictly as people who do good by “traditional” means. The transition of superheros to anti-heros is also a fascinating topic and in regard to when the transition happens. This could possibly be a way to further analyze the anti-hero complex. 2. The methods and materials used throughout this essay are very evident in their individual portions, however the often did not mesh well together. Page 2 has an example of this where there is a repetition in aim for the essay. However I think that this may be
