Brianna Meier2671435INTRODUCTIONIn order to calculate the molar concentration of barium hydroxide solution you need to measure the conductivity of the reaction between sulfuric acid and barium hydroxide. Conductivity is the degree in which the solution conducts electricity. Using the lab conductivity probe and Lab quest we were then given the data to be able to perform the calculations. METHODS1.Wear goggles2.Transfer 10 mL of Ba(OH) to 250mL beaker, add 50mL DI water3.Set up conductivity probe and drop countera.Connect to LQb.Lower drop counter onto ring standc.
