NAME____________________________________________________ SECT #_________ after Drosophila lab 14 POINTS Next week you will conduct an experiment on the enzyme catalase. Design an experiment to investigate the effect of one environmental variable on the activity of this enzyme. Here are the variables you will be able to manipulate: enzyme (catalase) concentration, substrate (hydrogen peroxide) concentration, pH, temperature, salt concentration. NOTE: This is an individual assignment. We expect that you and your lab partners will design different experiments at this stage. Next week you and your partners will get together to agree on the design of the experiment you will actually conduct.
