2Impact of Personalities and Diversity Part IIn today’s health care organizations, ineffective teams may be the outcome of an improper and unplanned team arrangement. Determining whether or not to use team methodology is only the first step in the execution of organizational goals. A carefully planned team can provide a safeguard against ineffectiveness and a knowledgeable team can develop the groups’ dynamics and techniques, that is capable of representation of several functional areas.This unified collaboration demonstrates the effects of a well-planned team that is comparable in problem-solving ability, and task responsibility. A well-planned team will have two immutable characteristics. Cohesion and communication. Cohesion is an essential ingredient in team effectiveness. A cohesive team will exhibit an attitude of togetherness that facilitates team members in quickly resolving differences. As the cohesion increases, so does the level of conformity to group norms. This is a positive outcome for the organization and performance expectations. In a well-planned team, communication is second nature. Staying abreast of new implementations, changes in strategies, introduction or enhancement of new policy are all communicated. No matter the type of communication a cohesive team with come together to make application recommendations for a swift and smooth transition with minimum impact on team expectations. Each member of our team had taken “The Big Five Personality Assessment” test. Lisa’s personality traits are agreeableness and extraversion. She is friendly, warm, and tactful. She is a person that can easily make friends and have a genuine care for people's wellbeing. Lisa enjoys being around people, and with her full energy and participation, she is the life of the party. Laurie's personal traits are conscientiousness and extraversion. She is a hard worker, reliable and at times conformist. She is dedicated to her work and goals because of the long
3hours to have perfection. Laurie thrives being in crowds that will include, gatherings, communityactivities, public demonstrations, and political activities. With her enthusiastic, assertive and gratification personality, she has no problem with involvement with the different diversity of people. Rosalind’s characteristic traits are contentiousness and agreeableness. “the Fundamentalcharacter trait that influences her when she set and keep long-range goals, deliberate over choices, or behave impulsively, and take obligations to other seriously.“In contemporary personality psychology, agreeableness is one of the five major dimensions of personality structure, reflecting individual differences in concern for cooperation and social harmony.” Polly’s characteristic traits are also contentiousness and agreeableness.The work and personal life are organized.
