Desales Culley Jr. EGL 1010 Professor Jeanty 10/13/15 Pattern of Development: Cause & Effect Topic: Cheating Audience: Students Purpose: Inform Cheating is when someone act dishonestly or unfairly to gain the upper hand. People tend to cheat on things such as tests, sports, or even video games. With all that said, many frown upon cheating. Even so, many still cheat anyways. This essay will talk about the causes and effects of cheating. One cause could involve a student taking a test. He came to the class unprepared and felt that he would fail the test because he was unprepared for the test in different ways. First he did not study for it because he forgot all about it trying to keep with his many other courses. He really cannot afford to fail this test or his grade will drop severely. If that happens he cannot play for the football team. He feels there is only one thing he can do take stop himself from failing. He decides that cheating is his only option. So before the test he takes pictures of info from the subject book. During the test he uses the pictures to help him find the answers. He also
