1.The media makes teenagers out to be disobedient, disrespectful, sleazy people with noregard to anyone but themselves. They make it look like we think of nothing but sex.Everyone knows the majority of teenagers in society today are nothing like anyone yousee on TV. It makes me sick that I can't turn on the TV without being insulted by the"ideal" image the media tries to send out to teens. All it does is lower people's self-esteem and self-worth.2.I see the media portraying teens as always happy because their life is so easy andeverything they want they get, when really, life for a teen is not very easy these days. Wehave to deal with peer pressure, drugs, alcohol and sex, while also dealing with who weare as a person. Every teen wants to be the one with all the friends and seen as cool.But not once have I seen the media portray a teen as someone who has to deal withthose kinds of problems.3.It creates more interesting television and movies which hook the audience and get them
