When organizationsembrace diversity in the workplace, they become more competitive as a result of differentperspectives, better problem-solving, and improved decision-making capabilities (Fischer, n.d.).Additionally, organizations help bridge cultural gaps that are created due to a lack ofunderstanding or concern for others by simply acknowledging differences among employees andtaking the necessary steps to create inclusive environments. For example, family-friendlycorporations enable male and female employees to balance their personal and professionalobligations in a fair and equitable manner (Lawrence & Weber, 2016). These corporationsmaintain employees retention rates and work satisfaction. Likewise, a commitment to diversitymanagement also fosters a sense of community within a organization and it contributes to a
