When organizations embrace diversity in the workplace, they become more competitive as a result of different perspectives, better problem-solving, and improved decision-making capabilities (Fischer, n.d.). Additionally, organizations help bridge cultural gaps that are created due to a lack of understanding or concern for others by simply acknowledging differences among employees and taking the necessary steps to create inclusive environments.
