Procedure: We hung the spring with the narrow end up. We put weights on the bottom end of the spring and measured the displacement of the spring. Afterwards, for each weight that were attached, we set the spring in oscillating motion and measured the time it takes for 30 oscillation. From this we were able to calculate the period.
