Chemistry Computer Room Policies (Chem 587 students may use MP 2047 computers) Posted at: http://www.chemistry.ohio-state.edu/compsupp/Policies/undergrad_rules.html You have been assigned a computer account to allow you to fulfill the requirements for a chemistry course in which you are enrolled. There are a number of policies on the use of both the computers and computer labs, which you are required to follow to maintain your account. Abuse of these policies will result in the possible loss of your computer privileges, being brought before Student Judicial Affairs, or the Police (if any vandalism occurs) and such actions will be made at our discretion. ( Potential penalties ) 1) The security of your account and the labs are of concern for all. Do not share your account or password with anyone! 2) Do not open the door to the computer labs for anyone! 3) Do not change any default settings, hardware configurations, or attempt to add, remove or copy any software.
