An Overview of Economic Growth U.S. standards of living are vastly superior to 100 years ago. Higher incomes. Many new products. Better Health. More Education. But this explosion in living standards is a new phenomenon. Standards of living vary considerably in different countries. Some poorer countries seem to catch up. Other poorer countries continue to lag behind. We seek to explain growth in incomes over time. We seek to explain differences in countries’ standards of living.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
