The students in both sections who participated in the experiment. 3. i. The entire customer satisfaction for cars sold during the previous year. ii. Not hypothetical. 1.4.5 2. The second choice is closer to a simple random sampling. 3. i. Take a simple random sample from the entire collection of last year’s customers. This will give an overall picture of the degree of customer satisfaction, but not specific to each type of car. ii. Take a stratified random sample, with car type being the strata. This will provide type-specific information on customer satisfaction, as well as the overall degree of customer satisfaction.
