Important Note : All Paper Work Requests Have a 10-day Turn-around Period Revised 1/30/2014 PASADENA CITY COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSIONS APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLICATION DEADLINES: Out-Of-U.S./ Change of Status: (Students without a valid F-1 Visa) In-U.S./Transfer : (Students with a valid F-1 Visa) • Fall Semester – May 1 • Fall Semester – June 1 • Spring Semester – October 1 • Spring Semester – November 1 Admission Guidelines: Note: All students must be at least 16 years old. Student under 18 must show proof of high school graduation prior to acceptance. 1. Completed and signed “International Student Application.” 2. One passport size photograph. 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) 3. Nonrefundable application fee of $40.00 USD. Please make check or money order payable to Pasadena City College. Credit cards and Cash will not be accepted. Note: Personal checks must be printed with account holder's name and address, name and address cannot be handwritten. 4. Optional (OVERSEAS APPLICATIONS ONLY) Overseas U.S. Postal Service Express Shipping of I-20, additional $50.00 USD. Please provide a separate check or money order of $50.00 payable to Pasadena City College . No Credit Cards and Cash. 5. Sponsorship Information: Complete International Student Sponsor Affidavit Form. The form is valid only if signed by your sponsor. Note: Sponsor and account holder must be the same person. Current bank letter or statement indicating a minimum balance of USD $20,000 (dated within 3 months). Currency must be specified. Statement or letter must be in English and must be from CHECKING/SAVINGS/CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT account ( *no stocks or investments ). We require a bank statement or letter in order to make your I-20. **Please note that the name on the bank statement must match the sponsor’s name. 6. English Proficiency Requirement : Please see attached PCC Proof of English Proficiency for options to show applicant has met English Proficiency requirement 7. Educational requirement: (If the original language is not English, a certified English translation must accompany all transcripts, certificates, and diplomas.): Applicants under 18 years old must submit a copy of their high school diploma and a copy of their high school transcript. Applicants over 18 years old must submit a copy of a transcript from their high school or college. 8. Visa document requirement : Copy of your passport information page(s) and expiration page. In addition, if you are a transfer student : Copy of current visa page Copy of form I-20 from current school Transfer-In Recommendation Form In addition, if you are a change of status student : Copy of current visa page Copy of I-20 if you are on F-2 status Copy of page 1 of DS-2019 if you are on J status 9. Applicants under 18 years old at time of application: Complete Minor Health Consent Form. This form is only valid if signed by your Parent.
