Preface Kızıldere Geothermal Field is located in the Denizli-Aydın provinces of western Turkey at the western extreme of the Büyük Menderes graben. It is the first geothermal field developed in Turkey in 1968. A total of 20 wells have been drilled until 2003. The depths of the producing wells are between 370 m-1241 m. A geothermal power plant with a capacity of 20.4 MWe was put in operation in 1984. Pixel Energy Company will drill PXL-1 Well if the results of this project are feasible. The expected well will have a depth of 700 m. The formation is Pm-Marble (Igdecik Formation), the expected temperature will around 198-202 °C and the pressure will 7000-7200 kPa. Pixel Energy Company has been prepared this document to give the general process of the planned future studies for Kızıldere Field. The planned studies are categorized for mainly five topics; Geothermal Resource Determination, Geothermal Reservoir Characterization, Production Analysis and Production Forecasting, Utilization of Geothermal Resources and Cost Analysis. Finally the program of these studies will be provided to give a better idea. 1. Geothermal Resource Determination

A) Risk Analysis Since most of the variables and the data at hand are not exact values but a range of possible occurrence, risk analysis has to be done for all geothermal well. Monte Carlo simulation method can be used since it has useful tool and user friendly simulating the systems having variables with uncertainty. @RISK computer software will be used with Monte Carlo simulation method since it uses many types of distribution varying uncertain inputs. Therefore; uncertainty such as porosity, specific heat of rock, specific heat of fluid, density of rock, density of fluid, area, thickness, temperature and recovery factor will be analyzed using
