1. Cerebellum : Ability to control how we move, walk, talk, and other physical activities will be, in part, done by this portion of the brain. 2. Medulla: It is responsible for the regulation of your heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure as well as reflexes such as vomiting, sneezing, and coughing. 3. Reticular formation: It plays a central role in states of consciousness like alertness and sleep 4. Thalamus:The main function of the thalamus is to relay motor and sensory signals to the cerebral cortex. 5. Hypothalamus : Is a section of the brain responsible for the production of many of the body’s essential hormones, chemical substances that help control different cells and organs. 6. Hippocampus: A small organ located within the brain's medial temporal lobe and forms an important part of the limbic system, the region that regulates emotions. 7. Amygdala: Is the integrative center for emotions, emotional behavior, and motivation.
