Assignment 2 Life cycle analysis. Due December 2 nd Chapter 7 Life cycle analysis. The effort to understand products, processes.. for any product or process needs to be reported by the life cycle analysis. Negative and positive influence on the environment. Ex. A pop can. How much does it cost? What are the alternatives? From the raw product, what happens to it? What processes are done to it? How is it transformed? Next, manufacture. Then, you have the product. Before it is sold, it has to be packaged or whatever. Shipping.. Then, it is sold. Use. How long is it used for? Disposal. What happens to it after and where does it go? Is it recycled? Is it garbage? All the costs include all the processes. Including the manufacture, use, disposal. This is the life cycle analysis. To prove that something needs to be changed, you have to do an analysis. You need troof that things need to change, Used in any field, it is very generalized. The deeper you dig, the more new facts you will find to present. Example, on a car, you have to do a life cycle analysis on each and every part of the car.
