College Transfer Success

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course provides information and strategies necessary to
develop clear academic and professional goals beyond the
community college experience.

Topics include the CAA, college culture, paying for college,
academic integrity, the admissions process, career exploration,
course planning, researching information on transfer
universities, critical thinking, learning strategies, and planning
strategies for a successful academic transition.
 Approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement
for transfer as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Develop a strategic plan for completing community
college academic goals.

Develop a strategic plan for transferring to a university
and preparing for a new career.

Identify the rights and responsibilities of transfer
students under the Comprehensive Articulation
Agreement (CAA).
