Kaitlyn Davis IGE 121 9:15- 10:20 January 16, 2007 Readings from Ancient India In general I felt that these texts were all connected in some way, and very connected to Christianity. Their beliefs about how human behavior should be, before life, and after life experiences. They all felt that man should be kind, pure, and innocent. They felt that we should all treat each other nicely and without harsh words. They all agreed upon the fact that the evil doer will get repaid in the end. They all believed in a heaven and hell, and that there were Gods. They also felt that if you do not ask for their help that you cannot get through. Lastly, are their beliefs about desires. Desires will lead one to the wrong end. It will bring evil doings. Slowly but surely, as long a little is still going through the evilness will be fulfilled in the end. The first section is about the traditional Hinduism. They believe in certain gods. Their gods have similar, but different duties. They read out of the "Rig Veda".
