PROJECT MANAGER 2 Create a job description and specifications for your dream job. In a recent CNN/Money.com survey listing the top 50 best jobs in America, project manager was ranked at number five and the project management institute (PMT) expects the future to be brighter than you might think, with the global gross domestic product (GDP) in projectized industry anticipated to increase in the United States by $4.5 trillion by 2016 (Villanova University, 2014). Project Managers are responsible for planning supervising and creating innovative project plans which includes controlling the budget and schedule ensuring that all milestones are achieve of a construction project. The main job description of being a project manager is to ensure that the client’s requirements are achieved on schedule within an allocated budget and most important is that project achieves quality standards. Other parts of the job description consist of making sure that all the aims and quality standards are met (Target jobs, 2014). Project manager need to be able to monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained along with ensuring that ethical business is being conducted. As a project manager, that individual must have the skills to define the project objectives, create work schedules and oversee quality control throughout the entire project (Villanova University, 2014). The project manager have to implement an effective plan that will successfully attain resources, manage diverse groups of people and identify, assess along with minimize project risks until a project is successful accomplish. Other important factors of a job description for a project manager would be providing independent advice on the management of projects, organizing the various professional people working on a project, using the latest IT to keep track of people and progress along with maintaining accounting costing and billing (Target jobs, 2014). The specifications of a project manager require that one has a great degree related to that preferably career. It is very important that the individual have some type of experience in management. The other

A great project manager should have certain specialifications such as communication skills, team working abilities, ability to motivate employees and the management skills to ensure that all business strategies will achieve all project objectives along with milestones. It is that the project manager creates and executes project work plans and timelines along with effectively managing the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope (Williams, 2010).
