RKR Management Plan Team # Electrified Week # 5 Dinner Table of Contents and Executive Summary 5% Executive Summary (the first page before the table of contents) is a one-page, review of the plan with a focus on presenting the desired results of all goals and objectives within the plan Table of Contents: complete with appropriate pagination USE 1 ½” folders w/ fully labeled (typed) tabs . The written document (except flyers, menus, handouts, reference section, etc) is single-spaced, one-inch margins, and uses a 12-point, professional font (for example, Times Roman or Arial) A. General Management Plan 15% 1. Norms: appropriate wording, relevant content, signatures of all managers 2. Team Philosophy and Mission Statement o The Three Goals of the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch o Three Objectives ( All Measurable) o Objective #1 S.M.A.R.T. Connection to at least one RKR Goal explained Actions/Strategies to achieve this objective (minimum 4) o Objective #2 S.M.A.R.T. Connection to at least one RKR Goal explained Actions/Strategies to achieve this objective (minimum 4) o Objective #3 S.M.A.R.T. Connection to at least one RKR Goal explained Actions/Strategies to achieve this objective (minimum 4) 3. Guest Feedback o Sample comment card, Comment card collects information pertinent to the plan o How feedback is collected is discussed briefly, Monitoring plan included 4. Staff Meetings: Paragraphs explaining the formal methods the team will use to communicate with the staff and with one another Include a timeline. Plan for BOH & FOH staff. Coordination details w/ Lunch counterparts for MEP of FOH & BOH. 5. General Briefing Agendas: Synopsis for each, details on chapters o Four total, labeled one each for Wednesday, Thursday to Saturday, date/day o “Brain Food” (each agenda has something) o Blank outlines for daily sales forecast, check average goal, and guest count projections, QTD information, special requests, menu changes, etc. (content to be filled in during your management week) o Sales building plan (each agenda has something) o Daily training plan: possible content includes safety and sanitation, service standards, product knowledge, (each agenda has something and content is based on the information found in sections B, C, and E at a minimum) o
