Comparisons between spectra of known elements and that of the rings of Saturn show which elements are present in Saturn’s rings: Saturn’s rings have hydrogen as compared to the spectra of known elements. 2. Comparisons between spectra of known elements and that of the moon Titan show which elements are present in Titan: There is hydrogen and nitrogen present in the spectrum of the moon Titan as compared to the spectra of known elements. 3. Why is hydrogen so abundant in these spectra? Hydrogen is abundant throughout the solar system but one reason why hydrogen is so abundant in these spectrum is because hydrogen is present in the space and not I the stars. It is present in the interplanetary space.
