This source also attempted to test both themodelling and control and control theories of parental influence (Brown & Ogden, 2004). Thepurpose for this research was that Brown and Ogden, "aimed to explore the relationship betweenparents and children’s eating attitudes and behavior, and to assess and compare the modellingand control theories of parental influence (2004)."
