In Plath's remarkable poem "Daddy," she expresses her emotion of her father. Throughout the poem, she does not write all about her dad; it symbolizes all males who made her feel expressive. Sylvia Plath demonstrates all the qualities writers strive to accomplish in her poetic literature. All successful poets exemplify a forceful theme, a wide range of literary devices, an innovative form, and symbolism to illustrate their expression to the audience. "Daddy" consists of sixteen five-line stanzas. This poem is very ruthless and lethal written about Plath's father, Otto Plath. The author conveys a very forceful theme in this poetic literature. Plath illustrates an autobiographical poem that demonstrates a father/daughter relationship with a twist. The theme focuses on the daughter's expression of outrageous anger towards her father.
