Background We were given a lego kit along with a variety of sensors and motors. With the materials that were given to us, we attempted to construct and program a vehicle similar in structure to a car with an ultrasonic sensor attached to it in order to most effectively accomplish the task that was set out for us. Objective The objective of the flash project was to have the robot be able to drive around on the surface of the table without falling off the edge. In order to complete this we needed to make the robot analyze different states and then according to the reading, perform a certain task. Tasks Task 1: Sensor Calibration For the first task, we chose to use the ultrasonic sensor. We measured the distance of the sensor to the table to be 4.2 cm and we incorporated that into the VI in appendix 4 figure 4. To measure the distance between sensor and table, VI from Appendix 1 figure 1 was used.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
