Mathematical manipulation computer programs, such as EES, Matlab, Mathcad, Mathematica, etc. are becoming
increasingly easier to use and more powerful with each new version. These programs are especially useful to engineers
working with tensors, eigenvalues, etc. Many of you are already familiar with one of these packages. For others this may be
your first introduction to such programs. In this assignment, you will repeat Problem 7 of Homework Set 1, but you will use
a mathematical manipulation computer program (I use Mathcad – you may use any of them you wish).

) Show that the Kronecker delta function is isotropic for rotation about the

axis of 60 degrees, as in the previous
homework set. Attach a computer printout.
