Kelsey Jans Prof. Parker Ag 101 5/24/07 Paper ID: 47058529 Topic #5: How will you apply what you have learned in this class to your personal and/or professional life? Agriculture 101 was much more interesting than I would have imagined. I believed that the class content would be strictly related to it farming. But I had discovered Agriculture 101 to be more interesting and thought provoking. Agriculture 101 opened my eyes to a new world. I always thought that agriculture was only farming when in fact agriculture can be many things. On the first day of class, the professor, Mr. Parker asked every pupil what major they had selected. Mr. Parker then explained to each and every one of us how agriculture can relate to any major such as Engineering, Apparel Merchandising and Management and even Marketing. I learned that agriculture branches out to every aspect of life. Agriculture is something that America and the whole world depends on in order to sustain the human population. The information that I gained in Agriculture 101 will be useful as I express my intellectual side.
