Kelsey Jans IBM 301 3/8/08 Professor Vercillo Retailing: Vitamin C I went to Stater Brothers in Walnut and documented competitive research on Vitamin C. There were six different companies on the shelves. These companies were Nature Made, Full Circle, Topcare, Emergen-C, Ester C, and Sunny Maid. Nature Made’s packaging had the most appealing packaging of all the brands and it was on the middle top shelf. The package had many color combinations. The bottle is a dark brown color ( plastic) and has a yellow cap and a yellow label. On the label there is a Nature Made logo with red, and white lettering and a green plant symbol. The package also has a purple and blue outline around text on the bottom of the product which says “ Timid release” “ With rose hips”. The product also states that it is recommended by pharmacists. It has 60 tablets and 500mg of Vitamin C for each pill it also states that the product is a “ supplement”. Nature Made also has a rewards program with benefits for their consumers. This product retails for $8.99
