Kelsey Jans Prof. Korey Political Science Public Opinion and Gun Violence In a numerous amount of polls conducted by assorted sources and it is apparent that guns have created much more violence than we need in our society. We have seen gun violence in the news, we have seen it in magazines, newspapers, almost everywhere! There are two main issues that are discussed along with gun violence; Domestic violence and terrorism. Both of these main issues deal with gun violence. It is time for the public opinion to take control and make our country safer. As noted by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, there have been several reports regarding gun violence and it is understandable to many that there are current events concerning gun violence. We have often heard about terrorism although, it is noticeable that terrorism and guns go together. Guns are usually used to commit acts of terrorism. We have even seen horrible images of Osama Bin Laden and other terrorists aiming their AK 47’s at unknown targets.
