Wayne Shockley 1st Period Johnston March 24th Persuasive Essay The internet has allowed many opportunities for the future of our society, but does this come with a price? Has our privacy been taken away from us by using this technological advancement? No, although there are more ways to show your life off to others, privacy is still valued. There are many movements in our country to keep the government out of our private lives. Those who protest this use the Bill of Rights as the foundation of their argument. A document that was established in 1789 to protect the rights of U.S citizens, is still in use today. People value their privacy and always have that is why the document was created. Our entire country was founded because the pilgrims wanted the privacy to practice the religion of their choice.
