A SSET I NVENTORY An essential starting point for any asset mgmt process May involve data collection Covers the asset’s physical attributes and dimensions (ID#, type, location, area, volume, length, condition, etc.) May or may not include asset operations data (traffic volumes and loading, safety, congestion) May include data on asset environment (climate) Inventory could be done at any jurisdiction: state, district, sub-district, county, province, city, etc. 5
