If the curing temperature is 150oC and the service temperature is -50oC, find the axial thermal residual stress in each constituent in service condition based on the single fiber model (df= 10 m , dc= 12 m ) shown below. The material properties of individual constituents are f = 5 x 10-6/oC, Ef = 70 GPa, m = 45 x 10-6/oC and Em = 5 GPa. (6) df= 10 m 10 dc= 12 m 2.
