The longer lead is connected to the LEDs anode (labeled with a + sign in a part drawing) and the shorter lead is connected to the cathode (unlabeled in a part drawing) . The schematic symbol for a cathode is a line across a triangle, and the schematic symbol for an anode is a triangular part. 2. What stripes would you look for on a resistor if you were looking for a value of 2000 ? Red Black Red. 3. If the resistor has a color code of brown-black-green, what is the measurement in ? 1-0-00000 = 1000 k = 1 M. 4. What component limits current? A resistor. 5. When current is flowing through an LED circuit, are the electrons flowing out of Vdd or Vss? The electrons flow out of the V ss (the negative terminal). 6. How long does PAUSE 500 last?
