Kelsey Jans Professor Espy AMM 101 4/6/07 Valentino Valentino’s full name is Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani. His nationality is Italian and he was born may 11, 1933 in Voghera, Lombardy. Valentino had first become interested in fashion when he was a teenager attending middle school in Voghera, Italy. Valentino began to study with his uncle Rosa and then moved on to studying with Ernesto Salvadeo. Valentino decided at the age of 17 that he would further pursue his career in fashion by moving to Paris. (Wikipedia Par.1) Valentino attended Ecole Des Beaux Arts (which translates to the School of fine arts) and Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne after he ad moved to Paris. Valentino worked as an apprentice for many designers. He studied during an apprenticeship with Jean Desses and at Guy Laroche’s Paris atelier. During Valentino’s 5 year apprenticeship with Jean Desses, he had sketched dress ideas for Jacqueline de Ribes .During Valentino’s 2 year
