Course rules and grading procedure : Homework: Reading and homework assignments will be given at the beginning of each week. All assigned problems will also be posted on the Physics 410 home page. Homework will be due at the beginning of class on Monday of each week. (In the case that the due date falls on a holiday, homework will be due on the next class day.) Late homework will not be accepted. Please promptly bring any questions about recitation grading to my attention; no adjustments to homework grades will be made after one week has elapsed. You will be permitted fifty minutes to complete each midterm exam and two hours to complete the final exam. In addition, there will be roughly one in-class quiz per week. The quizzes will be open book and open notes. Your grade will be determined as follows: Each Midterm Exam 15 % Homework 20 % Quizzes 10 % Final Exam 25 % Study and Exam Aids: Exams will be closed book and closed notes.
