THE REPORT OF THE MISSIONS COMMITTEE SPIRITUAL YEAR 2015/2016 Presented by; BONIFACE GITAU - Missions Chairperson (outgoing) INTRODUCTION Glory and honor to God, by His grace we served in the missions committee from March to October this year. It has been a wonderful moment serving God through outreaches, campus evangelism and different missions’ activities and through it all God has been with us. I hereby outline the activities that we have been involved in during our term in office; 1. KAIROS MISSIONS TRAINING We organized and facilitated Kairos training; a 5 days course offered by Missions Campaign Network (MCN) and it was very successful and objectives were well met. It took place here in the University of Eldoret from 14 th to 18 th may 2016. 55 members graduated and awarded certificates ,few others attended but missed some sessions and were therefore advised to attend the sessions they missed next year and receive their certificates. The impact of Kairos has remained the most relevant in compelling students for missions and equipping them with knowledge, understanding and skills for mission work. I kindly urge all Kairos graduates to remain faithful to the commitments they made during the course and join God in His global purpose and passion for the nations. 2. EVANGELISM WEEK. As a committee we organized for an evangelism week that took place from 23 rd to 29th May 2016.The activities were; crusades, in reaches, and prayers. Crusades were done in; Sogomo, Ebenezer, Junction, Kambi Nairobi and in front of Block 2. An average of 100 students turned up for crusades from Monday to Sunday with an exception of Saturday when we had on my knees prayers in the arboretum. In reaches were conducted in sogomo for two days; in matemo,Elite,Tachasis on Wednesday;in Tana and Rusinga on Thursday and in hostels A,B,C,D on Sunday. There was a challenge in getting the full report of the in reaches since most missioners went their way after in reaching without submitting their reports to the coordinators. More than 90 people gave their lives to Christ and many were reached with the Gospel of truth through the week. There are three main things that happen in mission work i.e. planting, watering and harvesting and all of them happened that week. Glory to God and to Jesus Christ our savior.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
