12/8/05 EWS 201 Humber Mandela’s Fight for Freedom Now I have to say, there were probably a lot of better videos out there. Not that this one was bad, but it just seems like the video did not focus on Mandela as much as it seemed like it would. But then again the man did spend a quarter of his life in jail. Not really much to cover until after he got out and a little before. Anyway, it focused enough on him I suppose since the video was not only dealing with him, but what he was fighting for as well, hence the title. It began giving a little background on Mandela and then sooner than later going into the part of him in prison. Basically, for the part of the documentary where he was in prison it would focus more on what was going on in the rest of South Africa for his duration in prison. Mandela was in prison for twenty-seven years unfortunately before being released under the pressure of not only the majority of the people of South Africa, but other nations as well.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
