Project Proposal Assignment Now that you have collected information about your topic, you will refine what you have discovered by creating a workable project for a specific area (ETSU, Johnson City, Tennessee, the US, etc.) based on your own abilities. This project must relate to your research topic in some way. If you are researching a specific problem, you should create a project that seeks to solve or raise awareness about that problem; if you are researching a specific method of civic engagement, you should create a project that uses that method to solve or raise awareness about a problem of your choice. Keep in mind that the research paper is broad while the project proposal is very specific. The Project Proposal Assignment is two parts. Part 1: Project Presentation Due Dates: 3/1-3/5 Grading: 4% total grade; out of 10 The project presentation should be a 4-5 minute speech outlining your project. It should be well organized and include information about the following: What is the problem/issue you will be addressing?
