1Man Kiu Chu COM 413 Mariusz Ozminkowski, Ph.D. 2:06 p.m. – 3:40pm 10/10/07 “Though Letter” At each naturalization ceremony , every newly “naturalized” U.S. citizens have to declare if they are Democratic or Republican , etc. So it is very hard to be undivided in this country when everyone is required to choose one political side . I knew because I was one of the “naturalized” citizens myself . At first I have no knowledge of different political parties since I became an American at a young age . Now as an adult I still cannot take sides of the two parties . However, I am little bit favor to the Democratic . Reasons are the recent activities from our government that pull me over to this party. Also, the Democratic party associates more with the middle class which is where I am economic standing right now . On the other hand, whenever I think about Republicans, I would imagine them to be white , rich and conservative. Also, it is natural for people to choose things that is related more to themselves due to its connection to the object. The role in the division of United States is very significant. Simply because both
