IntroductionThe Washington, DC public school system wants to improve students’ performance due to itsdecline over the recent years. Some of the few issues student come across is the crime that happensaround their schools and neighborhoods, which causes students to not go to school and low performance.When new faculty members or teachers arrives they have ideas and goals to better the students, but realitykicks in and they get discouraged and burnt out.Group DevelopmentThe process for group development has 5 stages and each stage has an important roleduring the progression of the group to be fully functional.1.Forming Stage – The group is getting to know each other.2.Storming Stage – Members of the group clash or are competing with each other togettheir ideas across3.Norming Stage – The group resolves their conflicts and agree on how the group willwork together4.Performing Stage – Members of the group are cooperating achieving goals.5.Adjourning Stage – The group has fulfilled its goals and objective as a group.
