Unformatted text preview: MATH 226 CALCULUS III Prof Baxendale 3/11/05 The second midterm test of the semester will take place on Wednesday, March 30 from 10:00 am to 10:50 am, as previously announced. The test will count 20% towards your overall grade. The midterm questions will be designed to test both your knowledge of the theory and also your ability to solve problems based on that theory. Calculators will be allowed. Books, lecture notes, formula sheets will not be allowed. Because of the midterm test there will be no quiz on Thursday, March 31. ASSIGNMENT FOR MIDTERM TEST: Text Sections 15.3 to 15.8 and 16.1 to 16.5. (In 16.5 omit sections on Moment of Inertia, Probability and Expected Values.)
