Executive Summary
This paper is to gather the information of current student housing status, compare with another
nearby school, collect the students’ feedbacks, and provide the in-depth analysis of possible
option to improve the current student housing plan for the Harrisburg University.

Introduction
Harrisburg University of Science & Technology is a four-year university located in the
downtown of Pennsylvania's capital, Harrisburg. The school was founded in 2001 and has 16
years history. To better facilitate the students to study in the Harrisburg University, the school
provides students the on-campus housing option. To improve the current student housing
situation, the school is considering to review and to upgrade the current student housing plan.
This paper is to provide an in-depth analysis of current housing situation for Harrisburg
University students. Also, the comparison with the nearby school has also been included in this
paper as well. In order to collect & analysis the data, and get to the best recommendation, many
methodologies have been used, such as surveys and interviews.
