The following technical information will provide the firm with the requested data and calculations covering the designated tube options. Also this memo will provide an update on the budget and project schedule. Phase II (Circulating Water System Design) of the Condenser and Circulating Water System Design Project has been completed. The technical data that you requested is presented below: The Circulating Water System flow rate for the four condenser tubing options are: o Admiralty: 7/8 O.D. 18 BWG Tubing: 281,000 gpm o Admiralty: 1 O.D. 18 BWG Tubing: 296,000 gpm o Stainless Steel 304: 7/8 O.D. 22 BWG Tubing: 285,000 gpm o Stainless Steel 304: 1 O.D. 22 BWG Tubing: 300,000 gpm (see Appendix I for details) The pump discharge pressure for the four condenser tubing options are: o Admiralty: 7/8 O.D. 18 BWG Tubing: 32.07 psi o Admiralty: 1 O.D. 18 BWG Tubing: 30.05 psi o Stainless Steel 304: 7/8 O.D. 22 BWG Tubing: 31.58 psi o Stainless Steel 304: 1 O.D. 22 BWG Tubing: 29.60 psi (see Appendix II for details)...
