Introduction Illegal Immigrants have been part of the US economy for an extended amount of time. Lately, politicians have been having a controversy over illegal immigrants in the recent elections. It has also been said that illegal immigrants have a negative effect on the United States economy. U.S. Citizens are also concerned about illegal immigrants taking their jobs. With illegal immigrants using the benefit of being tax-free, and using all our benefits in the United States, our economy is starting to decline. How are illegal immigrants ruining the economy? Investigation Plenty of sources support both sides of the issue. Some sources claim that Illegal Immigrants actually benefit the economy while others would say that Illegal Immigrants are overall hurting the economy that we have today. This was also the same for the opposite, conservative, side of the argument. The definition of an Economy is the wealth and resources of a country or a region.
