Course description • This course is designed for students (particularly, of engineering) with little or no background in life sciences to get a first touch with bio-areas. General topics in biology , biochemistry , microbiology , molecular biology and genetics will be covered. • Students who finish this course are strongly encouraged to take more in biosciences to solidify their background in biosciences, particularly if they are interested in pursuing their future career in the areas of biotechnology and bioengineering.
